Big O was in town Monday and invited me to dinner. We had a great evening and good conversation.

It's not surprising how much work is involved in designing new products. Input from 28 Strike King/ Rage

Tail Prostaff is something that brings on the water expience from Tournament Pros into the equation.

Mr. Parks left me with a few samples of the new Rage Tails, but I have only fished the Cut-R Worm so

far. This may be the Next New Thing! The action and profile REALLY appealed to the bass in my local

pond. I think everyone is going to have a new favorite worm. This bait and the others introduced at ICAST

should be available at your favorite retailer in a couple of weeks.

Cant wait for the new DB Craw!  Perfect 1 - 2 punch with the original Rage Craw IMO.  Subtle DB Craw when the bite is a little slow.  Lively regular Rage Craw any other time.  :)

Yes, it is amazing how much goes into this stuff from this man. The baits just don't go, until everything about it is completely right. There's a reason why they're at the top of their class!

I am going to try that new craw out.

The new craw has a never before achieved claw action, and a streamlined claw following, to give it a whole new action that will amazing. If there were any unfilled gaps in the Rage Craw lineup, this new one takes care of them nicely. A great addition to my bag, for sure. Looks like they will be available sooner than I thought, too. Nice!

I am still not 100% completely sold on Rage tail.  My first pack was the frogs and I had a problem with the Rage Tail part tearing off very easily around the same spot on all of them.

not sure if you realized it, but every rage tail ive tried, you have to tear apart a small section of plastic on the appendages. or are you referring to something that happens after that is done?

i too, only buy mostly rage tail plastics, very few other plastics i buy...

I try not to jump on the perverbial bandwagon when new stuff comes out, but this worm really has me pumped. I'm thinking on the back of a swim jig too

There are lots of rigging options, but Big O specifically noted that if you are fishing it like a traditional

worm or Senko, rig the Cut-R Worm tail up. If you are swimming the bait, tail down.

Does anyone know when these new products will be available?

As I stated in the original post, Big O told me it would be a couple of weeks.

Sorry about that, I should have reread your post. I do have a few questions though. When you fished the cutter worm; which set up did you find to be the most productive T-rigged, rage rig, or some other style? Also, what retrieve worked better; swimming, hooping etc? Thanks, I only ask because I use alot of Rage Tail products and the worm and craw look very interesting.

It's Versatile for sure and hope you like'em when you get a chance to Fish'em. If you Rig it weightless... You might wanna rig the tail up  and watch the fall  has the body motion of senko style baits but the tail wags seductively from side to side too. You can also pinch it down on length as needed or for use as a trailer  Hope you Have Fun with'em!
