Does anyone know if you can replace the nylon weed guards on jigs? I work for my dad, which owns a powder coating business and Im thinking of powder coating and using my own custom colored jigs, just for the hell of it. You have to bake the product out at 400*, sometimes higher, and I dont know if the weed guard would melt. Any input is appreciated.

Sometimes you can pull them out with pliers.  Dont hook yourself.

It would be best to buy unpainted heads and loose weedgaurds.

I looked on the website last night, at their jigs.. Some of them look absolutely amazing.
