Blue Streak Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I wonder if it has ever been true that any lure has ever been banned in any state?? Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 20, 2010 Super User Posted July 20, 2010 The only lure banned in all states except Alabama is dynamite. Quote
Super User skunked_again Posted July 20, 2010 Super User Posted July 20, 2010 what did you do, buy a bunch of old mags at a garage sale? Quote
Super User Micro Posted July 20, 2010 Author Super User Posted July 20, 2010 what did you do, buy a bunch of old mags at a garage sale? No. It's the April 1966 issue of Argosy Magazine. Argosy was a men's magazine. No, not girlie pictures. It covered men's interests. Had sports articles, hunting and fishing articles, and lots of fiction stories - mainly pulp-fiction type stories. This issue happened to have an a letter my dad sent in and he kept the magazine and gave it to me a few days ago. His letter was cool, but the real treasure were all the fishing ads. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted July 24, 2010 Super User Posted July 24, 2010 I tried to find a record of Leonard Hartman and his fishing records and there is nothing. Sounds like the old "make a paid add look like an article" trik to me. Quote
