I am looking to get new seats for my bass tender. I was considering getting one seat with a back for the stern part of the boat and a traditional butt seat so I can easily operate the trolling motor. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations or seats that you like..? Also,  I was looking at the low back hookset seat from Bass Pro and was wondering if that was a good seat, or if I could find a better option..?

The seats you just linked are great.  I bought them for my last boat and they provided way more support than the original seats.  They have a hard frame throughout the seat.  Lots of other seats have metal hinges and support that only go up a portion of the back support.  When they end, the rest of the back is prone to give some and lean back.  I hated that.

I just bought the basspro pro Casting seats today and will be trying them out this weekend.  I tested them in the boat this afternoon and they felt great.  I got the grey ones in this style.  http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Point-Man-Pedestal-Boat-Seats/product/10210439/

If you are like me and sit for a long time buy Tempress brand seats.  Your butt and back will thank you, plus they are American made.
