Nashua Nev Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 My dad tells me to Fish Smarter , Not Harder. It is August in NH now. Put in the effort but put it in smarter. A lot of empty casts this time of year he says. Patience , and more patience. They are still there and they still need to eat. 1 Quote

Super User Shane J Posted August 7, 2013 Super User Posted August 7, 2013 Had a couple hours after work today, so figured I'd get out there and land something to hop in the game. First one, was 22.5" and 7lbs,11oz caught on a Tx rigged Rage Craw in Green Pumpkin/Purple Gold. Second one was 21.75", and 6lbs 10oz. Same setup, but a Green Pumpkin Sapphire. I realized after looking at the pics, that my board was a little light, so I went over it with a sharpie for ya'll. Stay on 'em, gents! Fish 1: Fish 2: 1 Quote

Super User Shane J Posted August 9, 2013 Super User Posted August 9, 2013 Good luck with your goal, MARsSPEED, and thanks for the support on mine. As for the large bass thing... NH does have good fishing, you just have to fish for big fish. I'm not out to catch A fish. I'm out to catch THE fish. Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 I need to get back on the water!!! I've been craving it!!! 78.5" C'mon!!! Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted August 9, 2013 Super User Posted August 9, 2013 I think I am going to join your group rather than my FL group, lol. YOu guys are active over here everytime I look people are posting nice fish. I'm currently leading the FL group with 17, 19, 19, 19, 20 but that thread is dead so I'm sure some people have fish to post but just haven't. Good job guys at keeping this thread alive gives me something to look at. And nice job catching these fish in August, its hell to get the big ones down here in FL in August. 1 Quote
