Today the bass were activley feeding on bait fish. I saw one bust on some shad out in some weeds and casted out right on top of where it came out of the water and let it sink for a second then started to retreive it slowly. It hit like a train haha. It was my first one on the Hard Bass. This bait has tormented me. Ive had 8 followers in four days. Smallest being 3lbs and the biggest about 8lbs. I watched BigBassDreams right before I went which gave me the confidence in the bait. Thanks Oliver! Then about 30min after the first one I caught this beast. It came in at 6.5 on the digital scale. I thought it was hung up on weeds but I said in my head "How could it wake that much?". So I stopped it and gave it 1 or 2 twitches and it rolled on it like a carp would. It really didnt even fight that hard but it was fun catching it. And there are some photos of some decent fish this week. Thanks for looking!

4.9 from the video I was in a couple of weeks ago. Hit the exact same way. It hunted my frog down!

Great fish. I am envious, of the hard swimbaiters. You guys have to endure several trips without catching one fish, but then when you guys do they are really nice. My hats off to your persistence.

Thanks everyone! And to BassinLou, it's all about patience. In the back of my head I'm always thinking a swimbait needs to be tied on.

Very nice!  Did you measure that 6.5 fish?  It really looks long in the photo and appears to have room to fill out its frame in the future.

Completley forgot. It does look like it could gain another lb or two. I poked at the stomach and it felt like there was a bluegill or two in there. The bass was sitting right on bream beds to so its good to know they're eating good. What sucks is the lake I caught it from is so silted in its not funny. And there is so many bream it's unreal. That's why in the morning and at night the edges of bream beds is all I fish.
