Super User Jigfishn10 Posted July 25, 2013 Super User Posted July 25, 2013 My son and I went old school one day and we took out our spicast outfits for some panfish action. We used the Rebel 4 pack Critter Classic - Teeny Pop-R, Crickethopper, Teeny Wee-Crawfish and Teeny Wee-R - and boy did we have a lot of fun. We were catching bluegill, crappie, small grass pickerel and a suprise 2 lb largemouth bass. We were fishing around weedlines and lilly pads on 6# test mono where these lure excelled for us. I wish I could tell you which one was a favorite, but I can't, they all caught fish and a lot of memories. I think my son is a Pop-R nut now...LOL If you have a young angler and you're looking for a great outdoor activity, the Rebel Classic Critter 4 pack lures is the way to go, you can't go wrong! 2 Quote

Hyrule Bass Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 ive always had a blast with rebel baits. my first artificial lure was a rebel crickhopper...they work great for panfish and aint bad for bass either Quote
Super User MCS Posted July 26, 2013 Super User Posted July 26, 2013 Yep I got that pack for my son a christmas or two ago. They are fun little baits, especially the We-R and the little pop-r. I am I really liking the jumpin minnows too, you ever use those for striper, yall call them rockfish? We call them rockfish on the chesapeake. LOL Quote
GeorgiaBassBros Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Cant beat those little rebel cranks, i have a garage full of gear and they still come with me every trip Quote
craww Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 The crawfish are as safe a bet to get bit as any lure when chasing shallow river smallies. Quote
