I'm brand new to this forum so forgive me if this has been covered.

I've been using the ragetail craw Tx. rigged for a while, and have had enough success to go through 4 packs.

I almost only fish Briery Creek in Va. and it's trees, trees trees.....did I mention trees? Wayne Purdum, the bass god and answerer of my endless questions suggested I peg my sinker to avoid hang ups, going with that I bought 3/0 1/8oz

weighted hooks and let me tell you ...........the presentation value was mind blowing.the weight stayed pointed down, the body of the craw points up at about 90 degrees and the claws wave like crazy. Instant new favorite bait.

Try it out, I want to know if I'm just lucky or clever or late to the party :-/

That's cool that they are working well for you, but a 3/0 is a little small for the Craw. If you go up to a 5/0, your hookups will improve. Also, have you tried a screw lock style hook, like a Moaner hook? Your baits last longer, and rigging is easier. Rage on, bro! Catch one of those huge, beautiful Briary Creek trophies, and post it up, so we can see!

Welcome to BR again Joleree and hope you enjoy yourself here...This is a Friendly Group  :P

Also glad you like the Rage Craws on weighted hooks, I do as well and find more and more times when this style of rigging is necessary. The Anaconda got it started for me many years ago fishing over grass then I started using weighted hooks on all of'em from time to time with improving success.

Thanks for the info..........I've never been a very versatile fisherman and having the chance to fish and then really key on to something with these new baits and techniques is really great. reminds of why I fell in love with bass fishing

in the 1st place!

Thanks again!    ;D
