Well, this order should calm him down for awhile. He's still over in the corner muttering something about more color selection, extra hooks, and swim baits though. He's just gonna have to wait.

When my fish hound order gets here, I should be set for awhile.

Labor Day is approaching, a favorite day for the bait monkey.

I just ordered more stuff. I'm just about completely stocked up on everything. I should be able to fish for a longtime without needing too much. The bait monkey isn't comming

here because he came and went. But we do go thru plastics.

and terminal tackle. I guess the bait monkey will be beating on my door again soon.

I just purchased 5 New spinning rods, three new okuma spinning reels,

a ton of mister twister comidas and other plastics, plus more bomber cranks for my stash.

Once I get the doctors ok to fish I can go non stop. I get more time to fish rather than trying to replace stuff.

Labor day is a month away. Fall fishing will be fun this year. I will fish up to when the ice is on.

I'm amused that a 4oz bottle of KVD L&L conditioner ends up costing me $60 with 2 day shipping.  :|

Lol, I been there and told myself never again haha.

The bait monkey has been nibbling for a while and today it turned into chomping. I had $80 burning a hole in my wallet so I went and ordered a $70 japanese swimbait with overnight shipping. :o

I had to feed the monkey today. Ordered 4 new frogs and a wacky rigger. :)

No purchases for 6 weeks now. I went cold turkey. But just got an email for 25% off at kistler custom z-bones. I'm tempted. I'm going to replace boat batteries soon though. They're 4 years old now.

My two adult sons keep their gear in my garage. We have 50 some rods in racks. And another 20 in rod tubes. Many years ago I had a tackle store but I think I have more tackle stored in my garage now than I had in the whole store.

I am about to relapse. Been. Looking at mom and pop type companies baits. Need to expand my shaky head worms a bit. Looking at a new shimano spinning reel. You know the life :)

Now I need the components for the Carolina rigs and spinner bait skirts and trailer hooks.

I beat him, yesterday.  Went to Gander Mountain just to look at depth/fish finders.  Got some info I needed and did NOT spend a penny.

Half hour later I took my wife to Hobby Lobby and she did not find what she wanted and walked out of there not spending a penny.

What a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Victory:  :Victory:

I don't even pretend to argue with the Bait Monkey any more. I think I've bought tackle six times in the last month after promising not to go again. Friday I ended hitting an outfitter because I had the day off -- and "needed" to buy some drop shot weights and then today I was bored and decided I needed to replace a rod glove that went overboard last weekend. Of course, I needed some more stuff for drop shotting and happened across some River2Sea frogs that were half-price. I barely even fish frogs but now I own even more of the darned things.

Oh well.

Oh do I feel the pain!!!!!!!!!!!! Try having a bait monkey that has a tackle making addiction........That thing can't even be caged and when he bites it is deep and does it bleed but it feels oh so good!!!!

Yes.  I promised to stop buying stuff last week.  Then I decided my fiancée needed a new spinning rod.  Well it turns out I liked the rod (just a Shimano Sellus M/XF) so I decided I want one.  Well, I need a reel to put it on.  Daiwa Lexa 100 and my Sellus 6'8" M/F get here tomorrow.  :| :| :|
