Hey guys! I happened to stumble upon here after recently becoming a ***aatic. I have been fishing Kinzua for a few years for pike, muskie, and walleye, and many times hammered the smallmouth bass while jigging for walleye, or tossing a lure out for pike, but I've gone out a few times for LM bass, and there's nothing like it.
I live in a pretty hard area to fish in without traveling, which is a bit of a pain. I don't have a boat either.

where I live.. well.. I'm going to try to attatch a pic of a screenshot of google maps. If it doesn't work - I live about exactly in the middle of Erie and Pittsburgh (both north/south and east/west - 3 hours to each). I'm really looking for some good places up to an hour and a half from home to get into some bass. I know PA isn't too hot for bass, because we tend to focus our attention on trout. (yuck).

I'm lookin' forward to learning some stuff here and maybe contribute, myself!

thanks guys

edit: don't know why, keeps *'ing out ***atic.

Not sure what kind of a drive it would be, but check out Lake Arthur at moraine state park. They rent boats. a bit pricey, but theres lots of shore fishing i hear.

thanks man, I just checked it out, it'd be a nice place to try some time when i have a good full day to fish, as it's 120 miles from home, but thank you!
