angler1 Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Has anyone ever tried to put a Mann's Jelly Worm on a weightless wacky hook. The thought crossed my mind this past weekend when I was fishing at night but I stuck w/ my 4" senko instead and has success. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 20, 2010 Super User Posted July 20, 2010 Any piece of plastic can be Texas rigged, Wacky rigged, Carolina rigged, Drop Shot rigged, Flipped, Pitched, Punched or any rig else you can think of. Quote
brushhoggin Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 raul, is that considered wacky even though the hook isn't rigged perpendicular to the worm? Quote
Super User Raul Posted July 20, 2010 Super User Posted July 20, 2010 raul, is that considered wacky even though the hook isn't rigged perpendicular to the worm? For me it 's a weedless wacky, actually when you use O rings for wacky rigging senkos the hook is not perpendicular to the bait, yet, they are wacky rigged. Quote

basscrusher Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 in reference to the original post, I'm assuming you meant the 8" jelly worm, but believe it or not, I've toyed with the idea of wacky rigging the 12 inch jelly worm in one of my local lakes that has a good population of 5+ lb bass (muskies too). If I ever get crazy enough to try it, I'll let you know how it works. I see no reason why the 8 inch jelly worm wouldn't be deadly on a wacky rig. Do it and post results! Quote
