AJMichigan Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Thinking of ordering a few of these, has anyone had any luck with em? Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted July 23, 2013 Super User Posted July 23, 2013 You be better off to get a pack of Gene Larew sweet swimmers, or Keitech Easy Shiners or even the new Strike King KVD Swimmin Shiner. That is because the mighty bite is basically a soft plastic swimbait like the ones I mentioned except it has a marketing gimmick of a bite taken out that the fish will see as an easy meal. sorry but it is a gimmick. Fish, bass especially, feed on a combination of instinct and opportunity, does it see the bite mark??? We really don't know but bass inhale their prey and swallow, so it rarely sees this type of bite mark, instead an action that suggest wounded makes for a better presentation and the list of baits I gave you are different enough from a live baitfish that they produce a feeding response from fish extremely well with no gimmick just action and that is what you look for. jhoffman Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 My buddy ordered them, I laughed at him. Way over priced, and I didnt know we had mini sharks taking chomps out of baits in the lake. Quote

One of my buddfies ordered some late at night after a few whiskey drinks. As far as I know he has NEVER had a bite on one of these lures. Quote
OutdoorAndy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 It is a overpriced swimbait made to appeal to the human more than the fish. This is why Mightybite chose to do an infommercial & Berkley, Zoom, Yum, & countless other plastic bait companies do not. Try some of these below only $2.99. I have had great "luck" with these !
