I use spros most of the time, but the pad crasher seems to work fine so far and it's less $$$$$$

That's cool, but those snaps would be picking up muck on every cast

that contraption would scare every fish off around when it flopped down in the water!

I just started fishing frogs myself so I can't tell you what my favorite is. However, I can tell you one that you should definitely stay away from. The BPS Kermy. They look amazing but they are crap quality. They take on water on the first cast and sink like a stone.

I just got an evolve nervous walker frog yesterday. It's super soft and looks great. As long as it doesn't sink like a stone I expect it to be a very good frog.

I have spros, sexy frogs, and pad crashers. They all keep out water reasonably, however the hook up varies I think. I had the best luck with pad crashers because of how soft they are. I think they walk a little easier the the spro and kvd because its a little lighter. The spro is heavy as hell but looks great and is very durable. The same can be said about the sexy frog. KVD has a rattle too.
