alexczarn Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I am coming up to MN next summer, and likewise will not have a boat, I will be staying in the Brooklyn Park/Hennepin County area. If anyone could help me too please, much appreciated. 1 Quote
Colten Thiel Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I know the minnesota DNR website has some info on dock friendly lakes, and they also list docks for the local rivers such as the mississippi as well as the sauk river etc. Now as far as which ones are worth a visit I can't help any more than that! hope you can find something, I know I've been there too! Fat Willy Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Does anybody know any minnesota spots with good shore/dock fishing? I am a boatless angler who needs to find some good spots Hey Muzzy! I live in Maple Grove and I have been having great luck at Eagle Lake and Weaver Lake. They both have piers. Fish Lake does as well I believe but the road in is under construction and it is quite the hike in. Let me know if you want me to show you around. Thanks, Willy Quote
bass1980 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Go to medicine lake and fish off the west end of it from shore. There's also a pier there. Might be hard this time of the year but in late spring I know some people catching nice size bass there. 1 Quote

Fat Willy Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 There is a pier on Eagle Lake...It is off of 63rd Ave. My townhouse also has a private dock. If you want to fish the private dock, hit me up. 1 Quote
