Anyone seen it yet? The original was hilarious. This one just seems like they are trying to make it scary. I hope they didn't ruin this movie remaking it. Along those lines are they planning on remaking the other two also?

I haven't yet. Been wanting to grab it to check it out. I also want to see that new movie "The Conjouring". Looks pretty good but there has been a pretty bad stretch of crap horror movies in the past 5 years.  I love horror flicks but they just don't seem to make good ones anymore.

They seem to keep going for the cheap scares instead of quality. Momma scared the mess out of me though. That movie was just straight up creepy. It was almost like seeing the Exorcist for the first time. Before they put out all those crappy sequels.

Evil Dead trilogy was just massive gore and sadistic twisted humor. They weren't supposed to be scary.

You a fan of Rob Zombie?  I loved House of 1000 Corpses, Devils Rejects and the first Halloween. I made the mistake of seeing The Lords of Salem in the theater. God that movie was a disappointment.

I've been a fan of his since White Zombie. That man is a musical, film writing, and directing genius. Ain't seen Lords of Salem. I liked the other three though.

I feel the same way but was really let down with Lords. Man it was awful.

You a fan of Rob Zombie?  I loved House of 1000 Corpses, Devils Rejects and the first Halloween. I made the mistake of seeing The Lords of Salem in the theater. God that movie was a disappointment. 

God i hated those movies, especially his halloween remakes.

 

Momma was pretty good, I think sinister was the best thing to come out lately.

 

I wasnt a huge fan of the original evil dead, im not really a comedy/horror person. I think they should of probably waited a year or so more before bringing evil dead out when cabin in the woods just was released to dvd. They are so close its not even funny.

I guess I have a different taste. I like serial killer, psychosis crazy stuff. Things that are in some respect more likely to happen?.... But House of 1000 and Devils Rejects were brilliant.  I thought the first Halloween he did was great..the 2nd sucked.

 

It's hard to spook me on a ghost/paranormal type of movie. That stuff just doesn't phase me I guess.  I like movies like "The Others" that have a twist to them.

I love the evil dead movies, and I think I'm gonna have to wait until the conjuring comes out on dvd, as my wife has already sworn that she will not go to see it with me. I like the old school, 70s and 80s horror. I Spit On Your Grave, Salem's lot, Black Christmas and The Hills Have Eyes, the originals.

Im the complete opposite. House and devils just grossed me out with all the gore, it didnt particularly frighten me (that clown was a little freaky). However anything paranormal i really like. Although i really like the original halloween/ friday the 13 and they arent very paranormal.  I think i see so much serial killing/ pyschos in the news that by the time i go to watching a movie im sick of crazy people. Are you a hostel fan? That one made me not want to leave the country for a while.

Hostel was terrible. Seeing that was by far the biggest waste of money ever. It wasn't scary, suspensful, nothing. We went and saw it opening night. The reviews I had read before seeing it, said there was a chainsaw battle. There was A chainsaw. As in singular. I waited that whole movie for a battle. The ending was the only redeeming part. That was straight hardcore as all hell. It was the biggest let down, as far as movies go, ever. I had such high expectations for it.

Even the gore was sub par. At least for what I expected it to be.

I watched the centipede movie with my step daughter on her computer during a family get together. Poor girl. I got her hooked on horror movies when she was young. She loves House of 1000 Corpses. Anyway, Human Centipede wasn't great but Rob Zombie could have killed it. What a great idea for a movie. Wasn't any worse than any of the B movies from the 70's and 80's.

I went to see The Conjouring last night. It was good, we enjoyed the movie. My fiance went airborne once or twice but she's jumpy. The story wasn't anything spectacular but the scares and creepyness was there. 3.5 out of 5 stars for me.

I seen it the other day I found it funny just the luck the one guy had then the whole nub in the chain saw I found funny. I liked it only disappointment was most of them scary movies show well this is a family site so yeah evil dead had none of the twins.....lol
