Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 Man, that Koppers Shiner looks sexy. I really need to get my hands on one of those. Quote
Big Tom Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 For some reason, the picture of the Rat-L-Trap cracked me up. It looks like it has had a little too much to drink. ;D Thanks for these. I like these kinds of tests. They aren't too difficult and they tell you exactly what you need to know. Quote
Hook Set Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Micro, Thanks for taking time to test and post. I did a test this spring in the pool with shakey heads and different shakey head worms, I was surprised at some of the results! Funny how some baits look so much better on the shelf than in the water, don't they! Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 What ~ No Red Eye Shad ? Just kidding ~ Very Cool ! What made you do this particular test ? I am liking that Live Target bait - very sweet. A-Jay Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 My first thought is who fishes their lipless crank by casting out & letting it sit on the bottom? Quote
Big Tom Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 My first thought is who fishes their lipless crank by casting out & letting it sit on the bottom? Not many. But it is good to know what your bait is doing after a pause or when you yo-yo them. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 My first thought is who fishes their lipless crank by casting out & letting it sit on the bottom? Walleye guys and gals. They're deadly. Quote

Super User NorcalBassin Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 Dude, you have a lot of lipless cranks! Definitely like how the Clackin Rap holds at attention. Quote
Super User Micro Posted July 18, 2010 Author Super User Posted July 18, 2010 My first thought is who fishes their lipless crank by casting out & letting it sit on the bottom? You can use the ones that stand up when site fishing beds. It actually works well. You can retrieve it in over a bed at a slow to moderate speed and drop it in and it will nosestand like a nest raiding fish. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted July 18, 2010 Super User Posted July 18, 2010 Thanks micro! This is awesome to see. Quote
fathom Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 well done, micro. btw, dropping and killing the hardcore shad works well here, too. Quote
Missouribassman95 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Nice photo,s but you forgot Cotton Cordell! Quote
Stringjam Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 My first thought is who fishes their lipless crank by casting out & letting it sit on the bottom? I do....but we have rocks here, not grass. Same concept as fishing Silver Buddy's. I've always caught bigger largemouth using the lipless cranks. Quote
