I thought it'd be interesting to hear what everyone's favorite jig is.  Include brand, size, color, and the trailer you prefer to use with that particular jig.

I bought a few of the three packs Wal-Mart used to sell on clearance. I didn't pay much attention to what style they were but I am pretty sure they are the finesse football jigs. I do just about everything with these jigs.

I only have one left now but they are the best freakin' jigs I have ever used. I am going to have to order more from Tackle Warehouse.

I use three trailers on these jigs:

Zoom Super Speed Craw.

Net Bait Paca Chunks.

Strike King Rage Tail Chunk.

They all take a nice, quick JJ's bath before my jig goes in the water.

BPS Entice Football Jigs (Brown, PB&J, Black) or Tru-Tungsten jigs (same colors as the BPS ones). I'll throw Rage chunks and Rage craws on those.

For my tiny jigs (usually for smallies) I like the Strike King Bitzy Bugs and a YUM CrawBug in red and black or a rage chunk.

Wish I knew...I have not caught a fish on a Jig. Maybe I should spend more time fishing one. I do have some Ezee Jigs in my bow though. They look good with a Zoom Speed craw trailer. Just dont have confidence in jigs yet.

I live in Indiana and my Uncle lives in Texas.  He just sent me an Oldhams Football Eyeball Jig.  Just got it but it looks by far the best quality jig ive ever handled.  Photos online do them no justice!

Ok I have a confession...... never caught a bass on a jig. Tried em a little, but when some fish a jig, I go Texas worm, grub or kreature on a jig head, or some sort of minnow imitator on a split shot.

As someone who had a good 5 year layoff from getting the Bass Pro Shops catalog sent to me..... now I see finesse jigs, shaky head jigs, football jigs, brush jigs, and rattlin jigs. I do not remember so many types just a few years ago and everyone was using pork trailers then it seems. Now I do not even see em, and I still have some jars in my box.

Can someone maybe shed some insight into some of these head differences..... I just starting fishing a body of water with real thick vegetation and think pitching the jig might be a good new option to use far more then I have in the past. Also where did the pork trailers in the jars go? Just not as good anymore?

Mine would have to be a Booyah Baby Boo Jig 1/4oz with a BOSS creature skirt in okeechobee craw and a Rage Tail Baby craw in okeechobee craw.  I have had more hits and fish landed on this jig than any other that I own... It could also be that I am the most confident in this jig... who knows...

I just bought some netbait peca craws (kentucky craw color) and I have to say I'm very impressed with them! I threw them on a bitzy bug and a bps enticer and they work awesome on either jig.
