Eddie Munster Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I try to buy local to support a small tackle shop but some items are too limited so I got to looking at ***. It seems like their prices have gone up a bit since last year. I know they're still better than BPS but where does one get some good deals these days online? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 16, 2010 Super User Posted July 16, 2010 Start with our sponsors, they haul the freight around here! 8-) Quote
Steve1357 Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 My regular stops.... Lurenet, click on their specials tab. And on weekends, that have additional markdowns. And free shipping over $35 I think. http://www.lurenet.com/ Culprit always has something dirt cheap. http://www.culpritstore.com/catalog2/ Academy, scan the aisles for orange tags. And BigBitesBaits plastics are the best price when nothing is on sale. Walmarts in September. Cabelas Bargain Cave BassPro Clearance Tab Gander Mountain brick and mortar stores, never found any deals online. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 16, 2010 Super User Posted July 16, 2010 Hard to get better advice than whats already been posted. Every once in a while somebody will post a link here about a great closeout deal also. A while back somebody had a link to Bass Assassin on bulk closeout soft plastics at some ridiculous prices. Just need to keep your eyes out and share anything you find that looks good. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I am so fortunate my local family owned outlet has taken bass products seriously and done a decent job with the basics. They also special order anything for me and the prices are ALWAYS at or below BPS or TW prices. The buyer, Brad S. is an animal at finding deals on reels. Quote
