CxThree Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I'm pretty new to bass fishing and am learning Lake Wylie. I know my way around from years of Jet Skis on the lake. Learning the good fishing spots is now my challenge. Any vets here mind giving some tips to a new guy? Chris Quote
SCangler91 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I plan on getting up to Wylie to fish at some point because I'm up in the Clover area a good bit. Never been on the lake but at this time a year you should be fishing points in the lake and looking for some sort of structure in the water that could be holding bass. Also, try topwater at first daylight around docks and in shallow water. Good luck. Quote
CxThree Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Its a good place so far. The bassmaster weekend series guys are there today. I'm still learning spots, but its a big lake with plenty of coves, piers, ledges, etc. Quote
