Big-O Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 OK Boys and Girls HERE'S our Latest Craw design... The Rage DB Craw Denny Brauer and I created this Little Darlin' and it has Fantastic Action with 4 Flapping Claw Appendages instead of two... The arms and Claws don't spread out like the Standard Rage Craw but instead stay right behind the bait and flap seductively with minimal movement. It's basically the same size as the Standard Craw as well but the profile might appear slightly smaller due to the arms not spreading during retrieve. The colors to start with will be Green Pumpkin, Black n Blue, Summer Craw, Bama Craw, Watermelon Red/Black... Others colors that may be produced very soon are Blue Craw and Hard Candy. Hope you like'em! 3 Quote
Mccallister25 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I like it. Ill have to buy a pack to see em first hand. Its hard to beat the original craw. I love em!! Quote
hookset on 3 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Big-0. that's a nice compact flipping bait with the claws that stay pretty tight behind the body. I'm sure Denny wanted a profile like this for his new digs down on the clear waters of Lake Amistad! How 'bout an Amistad blue craw in honor of Mr. DB...? Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted July 15, 2013 Super User Posted July 15, 2013 Fantastic. I have 50 jigs on the way that will be needing trailers. May have to try a few. Can't wait for hard candy and some other new colors. Hopefully a bamabug, Okeechobee craw, and honey candy if possible. Thanks for the work with innovation and product design. I haven't fished a product of yours that I didn't like. Keep up the good work! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 15, 2013 Global Moderator Posted July 15, 2013 I see the action on this bait being a little more subtle than the original Rage craw and should be a great trailer on a finesse jig! Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted July 15, 2013 Super User Posted July 15, 2013 Looking good...I'll have to give them a try! Quote
Super User deep Posted July 15, 2013 Super User Posted July 15, 2013 The arms and Claws don't spread out like the Standard Rage Craw but instead stay right behind the bait Quick question Steve, when and why do you think this would be significant? In other words, when would I want to fish these as a jig trailer over the standard rage craws? Bait looks good. Thanks, Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 So this explains the delay in your new Rage Spider Craw. Still waiting. This should be a killer Carolina Rig bait Steve. Quote
RyneB Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 im already dreaming of this on the back of a black/blue swimjig. Oh man im excited. Quote

Super User rockchalk06 Posted July 16, 2013 Super User Posted July 16, 2013 Do the Claws float? the Rage craw is my favorite trailer, but the only complaint I have is the claws don't float very well. Quote
Big-O Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Quick question Steve, when and why do you think this would be significant? In other words, when would I want to fish these as a jig trailer over the standard rage craws? Bait looks good. Thanks, As I mentioned above, the Craw arms and Claws remain behind the bait during fall or retrieve, with the 4 flapping appendages on the claws themselves. When you fish it, you will see that the arms don't flail wildly like the standard Craw. It is a bit more subtle but the action is still very obvious and attractive. Denny explains on TW video vault from ICAST that this design is needed for fish who want attractive action but slightly less aggressive than our Rage Craw. Also a narrow swimming profile for punching etc. Hope this helps... rockchalk06, these Craws aren't made from floating plastic but the claws and arms don't exactly sink either. The material thickness can't get enough salt in it to make them really sink 1 Quote

Bassfishing375 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Looks like a good flipping bait, and a good shakey head bait. 1 Quote
