Thanks. I assume the bigger the rudder is, the better? Since I'm bolting it to the trolling motor's shaft, you don't think 12" is too wide?

 

You'll need to use your imagination and play with the size and shape until you settle on something that you like.

Are you referring to the fact of "equal & opposite reaction"??  If the ejection seat goes up - the back of the boat goes down - and you could sink the boat.....
