2" grub on a 1/32oz jighead.

I've caught a few on small crankbaits like the SK Bitsy Minnow or the Rebel Crickhopper but I've done much better using live worms.

I love the gills on the fly rod.  I will tie up 1/64 jig head and maribu little buggers (most colors seem to work most of the time)  poppers are fun when they are really feeding hard and aggressive (the big ones don't have this mode too often)

The San Juan worm pattern is very fun too

you can adapt those patters to a rod and reel with a tiny casting bobber and work well but you will have to fuss a bit more with the depth

rebel tad fry

I've looked on eBay, amazon, tackle warehouse, and bass pro shop but I couldn't find that lure anywhere. Any advice on where to find one?

The mighty nightcrawler is a sure hit. But so are red wigglers.

Fav way to fish for bluegills are on long poles (like cane poles). Absolute blast.

crickhopper is a good bait for bluegill and bass...

my old PB was caught on a crickhopper that had caught a bluegill. bass attacked the bluegill, jumped through the air like superman, i set the the hook which was in the bluegills mouth, watched the bluegill go down the basses throat in midair and my crickhopper snagged the bass in its mouth. i was glad to take the tradeoff from 4 inch bluegill to 4lb bass...

I like to use flies or Zoom flukes 4". Spoons work well. I seem to remember buying a package of six spoon lures for cheap from Blue Fox, or something like that, at Walmart. I was very surprised at how well they worked. They had a treble hook with fur tied on.
