loudcherokee Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Just wondering, are these a good brand of creature bait? the 25 pack at only $5.99 is very interesting. http://www.***.com Big_Bite_Baits_Brush_Pig_Creature_25pk/descpage-BBBBPCB.html If you could pick just one of the 7 colors available, which would you go with? I'm thinking about throwing a bag in the cart. The watermelon with chartruse tail caught my eye. LC Quote
Revival Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I havent personally used them but I use brush hogs. My new theory is to always go with green pumpkin first. To me thats boring, but it works. Quote
Kevin22 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 My favorite color is green pumpkin with blue tails. I would get the GP then you can dye the tails any color you want. Or just straight up GP, it works well also. Quote
ULG Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 big bite makes a good freakin bate, academy sales more of a variety in the stores abut thier website is lacking compared to the store selection for sure! but big bite is good and well worth the money! get u some! if u ever have a question about a bait, go to the actual webiste, big bite has some big names on thr prostaff! iv used them and zoom with no specific favorite but they both are fish catcher for sure! u wont be dissapointed! fishking247 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 never used those but i use zoom baby brush hogs a lot. it has been a go to plastic for me this yr. took many 5+lb fish on it including an 8.5 Quote
Blues19 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 looks a whole lot like the zoom brush hog, which is an amazing bait, so i would try the out. I would go with green pumpkin like the others said as well. That color will work anywhere Quote
tallen316 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Go with the zoom brush hog in green pumpkin. You'll be glad you did! Quote
trupp30 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I use Zoom Brush hogs and baby brush hogs, but have never used the Big Bite baits. If they work anything like Zoom's brush hog baits you will be glad you made the purchase. I have only used them for a short time, but they have quickly become a confidence bait. The number of fish a day I have got with these lures is unreal. Good luck. Quote
loudcherokee Posted July 14, 2013 Author Posted July 14, 2013 I think I'll take the risk and pick a pack or two up in different colors. Gonna add some megastrike to the order too. LC Quote
Super User bigbill Posted July 14, 2013 Super User Posted July 14, 2013 I use the darker red or black with the red flakes in brushogs I'll check out that brand too. Quote
Loop_Dad Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 LC, I don't know if you've used the zoom's brush hog, but I am interested in knowing how this compares to the zoom's. Watermelon Red Flk looks like similar to the color I like the most from the zoom. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted July 15, 2013 Super User Posted July 15, 2013 I guide at night and the Zoom Brush Hog is one of my go to baits for sure.My colors are greenpumpkin, junebug.Candy bug is my top color.but color can change from night to night and lake to lake! But don't make the mistake that many people make and try one or two colors and give up on the bait! Many times it was just a different color that turned them on. There is no magic color or size, some night they want the big hog and some nights the baby hog.But one thing is for sure the Zoom Brush Hog catch's alot of BIG bass and alot of numbers! This bait will one day go down in history as one of the best bass baits of all time! Enough said! Quote
