I have tubes of different brands ( Zoom, Yum, BPS ), I don 't find one being better than other, so why do I have from different brands ? well, one brand has colors I like the other one doesn 't have that 's why.

I agree, I'm not sure one brand is any better (although I tend to like the original Bobby Garland Gitzit) (probably for nostalgia sake).

I like watermellon pepper or similar...color #200 in the gitzit.

I use a custom poured 1/16 oz jig head, this seems to help with finicky bites.

The key to a tube is...the slower you move it the better...it's a lazy bait. They guy who taught me told me, "You should be able to a  sandwich in the time it takes to complete one cast."  Not literally, but you get the idea.

I like the El Grande tubes for a few reasons:

- The colors are great and most of them aren't available anywhere else (the smallies LOVE Watermelon Copper).

- The ribs give the tube a little more grit, so they hang in the fishes mouth longer (sometimes).

- They are a little tougher than most tubes and the heads are thicker.

Other than that, I agree with Raul, before I used El Grande tubes, they were all the same to me. I just got different brands because of the colors.

I like BPS Tender tubes and the Magnum Flipping tubes.  I also like a tube made by Cabin Creek Baits near here in Winchester.  I really like browns and greens and smoke colors

Green pumpkin, black neon, smoke, pumpkin seed are all of the colors I ever need.
