Kevin22 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I remember when I was first starting to bass fish, dad would always spray our culprit electric blue worms with craw BANG. I havent seen that stuff used in years, every time someone talks scent it is the new fancy pastes and XXXXX strong this and that. Does anyone use the old fashioned can of BANG? Quote
smallieking Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I do actually lol. I have two cans of bang. one in shad scent the other in craw. I don't think the brand name has anything to do with it. but after fishing for years I deff notice that soft plastics lose their appeal after 50 casts. a new bait straight out of the bag in my opinion will be more affective than a bait that's been on my hook for the past 3 hours. and I don't have money laying around to put on a new plastic every so often, so I like to recharge the bait by spraying them with scent. and I must say I feel it makes a huge difference and makes me much more productive on the water Quote
CPBassFishing Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I used it last year a bit but this year I have switched to Hog Tonic and I'm going to try megastrike. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted July 11, 2013 Super User Posted July 11, 2013 I have a can of it in my boat and another in my fishing room. But I also have Megastrike, JJ's and Spike-it. Jeff Quote

Super User 00 mod Posted July 11, 2013 Super User Posted July 11, 2013 Nah....not that cool. More like a storage room with rod racks and a peg board. Got almost all of my fishing stuff in there. Jeff Quote
RAMBLER Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 I use Bang garlic. I wash my hands and then spray them with Bang. Kills/masks any scents from my hands and also puts some scent on everything I handle. Somebody was showing me the difference between Zoom trick worms and the same worm made by Gambler. The difference was the Gambler smelled strongly of garlic. I sprayed a bag of Zoom trick worms with Bang garlic and sealed the bag back up. It seemed that the fish liked them better. Maybe, maybe not, but I felt better about using them. Did catch more fish than without the spray. Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 12, 2013 Super User Posted July 12, 2013 Yep. Usually for pond fishing. Last two cans don't spray. The product comes out in a stream which I don't like. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted July 12, 2013 Global Moderator Posted July 12, 2013 I believe the sent Gambler uses for thier plastics is Bang. At least they used too. Mike Quote
