Advise On What To Use These Setups For?

Looking for opinions on what the best techniques to use these setups for? Im looking to minimize the time spent changing lures out on the water and more time concentrating on actually fishing. I find myself constantly "trying" to figure out what i "should" be throwing than actually throwing, or just fishing one setup cause Im not really sure what to throw on what....give a newbie a hand??

 

So these are the 4 setups i got...

I do have some idea of what to throw on what set up as Im here everyday pretty much reading, learning. But do to the fact that I only and Can only have 4 setups at the moment It seems that Im going to need these setups to do double duty as I see the majority of you guys have a setup for every technique which is not feasible at this point for me.  

 

Please give me some direction so I can stop running around in circles an actually have fun fishing...LOL!!!

Mostly I agree with the above.

One comment on the Dobyns, though. I think the 4 powers fish lighter than I expect a H to fish. With that said, it is a versatile rod but I'm not sure I'd go above 1/2 oz on jigs on that rod.

I would ditch the braid except for on the spinning and heavy rod. Put mono on the vendetta and add topwater to the list. Then put either a copoly or fluoro on the veritas and you're good to go.

I've only been in the freshwater game for 3 years now, this being my 3rd season and it seems as though it gets more serious every season, I Love it. Same as myself, I've got 2 of my buddies I saltwater fish with for years pretty hook...lol. Anyway...

I constantly think about putting mono on at least one rig, but started with braid on the spinning rig an just fell in love...no memory, line twist, tangles, the diameter...just love it. Never used floro, know nothing about it. What would be some benefits from switching and which rig would benefit the most. I don't know how to pich an don't have any jigs or have any idea how to use them. I mostly use worms, toads, frog's, an lately spinners. I fish a lot of Stained water, with a LOT OF VEGGIE. I own cranks but never use them do to the heavy veg...guess I really should learn jigs then hu. One of my buddies I mentioned has a boat an we do get out just about every week but I live on a very big river up here in Mass so I'm beat'n the bank very often. Enough...sorry guys, just wanted to give a little info. I love this place, I've learned a ton from you guys...seriously...thanks for all the help.

Because the vendetta is for some crankbaits and topwaters it would be the best for some mono to help you keep from ripping the lure away from the fish. Fluorocarbon is the least visible line,sinks the fastest,and depending on who you ask stretches less than mono second to braid. The problem with fluoro is because it sinks it can't be used for topwater, really expensive, and you have to be a lot more careful with your knots or they heat up and get really weak. Copoly is basically mono except that it sinks a little slower than mono, much more sensitive,good knots, and less stretchy which results in more powerful hooksets. You can get a fluoro coated copoly, which is cheaper than 100% fluoro. I recommend copoly over fluoro or fluoro coated because I don't really like either. Copoly is as cheap as regular mono. A lot of guys have a hard time using braid on Texas rigs.

By the way copoly=copolymer. I'd recommend either pline voltage or cxx. If you get mono I'd use the new Berkley trilene XT.
