Anyone have any experiences with these jigs? Supposedly the jig rotates in the bass' mouth and hooks them in the top of the lip every time. I got some from tackle warehouse and the double plastic guard is really cool. The only problem is that the weedguard is stiff to work through heavy brush, so to hook any fish I had to use straight braid. I'm sure fluoro would work on a heavy rod instead of the MH I use. Thoughts?

I love them and use them all the time. Never had a problem setting the hook and I use a lot of mono. The stiff brush guards have never hampered my hooksets.

Just got off the water and used em.

I buy the hype regarding these.  I got hung up many times and was always able to get it back.  Hooks set in top of the mouth.

Real deal IMO.

Agreed. The thing I like the most is how well they stand up. The single most important thing I look for in casting jigs. The snaglessness is remarkable too.

I won one of these in a drawing on another forum. I caught several fish on it. I never had any problems with hooksets, and I use 15# Big Game mono.

almost caught a rather large turtle, but he got away with my jig. :cry3:

Great product that I'll be buying soon.

The TW version of the Nu jig uses a Owner hook and living rubber hand tied skirt designed by Iovino, Don worked with Bo to perfect this jig. Bo's has put a of of time into perfecting the jig head shape and the unique weed gaurds.

Bo recommends using a snap or whip hook set technique into controlled slack to drive the hook into the basses mouth.
