Hi all. Just curious as to whether anyone uses the Black Fury?  I absolutely love it in ALL sizes.  I have caught more bass using this than any other bait I have ever thrown!  I may not have all the latest and greatest techniques with flukes, frogs or whatever else but I have a blast with these!

I've thrown one for 30+ years

My dad has always used the brown agila?

I'm 100% positive he has one tied on now.

My favorite is the #3 or #4 in black and red.  It is part of every tackle box I take out with me.

Did real well for a week straight 3 years ago on #5 mepps aglias and black furys. Quite a few bass in the 3lb range and some big pike. We were fishing them over submerged weeds in a clear lake, there was anywhere from 6" to 3' of water above the weeds and the fish would just hammer the mepps. Ignored a spinnerbait and chatterbait but crushed the mepps.

I swear by the inline spinners and spin flys. I use the mepps  anglia #3 silver blade with a brown tail. For stained water it's the mepps Anglia #3 gold blade with the brown tail. You can also use either one with the gray tail too.

The mepps  "00"  black fury I think it is,  It's good for trout.

For some reason the bass like the strike king inline spinner too the silver blade with the black tail.

Then there are the Joe's Fly in his new 1/4 oz  bass size spin fly trust me just tie a blackgnat or firetiger apache  on.

I have mepps #5 Agila in fire tiger blade and yellow bucktail in every bass and musky box I own. They are fun to fish and flat out catch em.

Mepps rule!

Great multi species lure. I have a whole plano tray filled with Mepps and DAM inline spinners.

No, I don´t fish with in-line spinners and with that piece of junk even less, it´s so "beginner" like fishing with in-line spinners ... :eyebrows:
