A 1/2oz black/blue jig with a couple really loud rattles and buoyant trailer like a Strike King 3x chunk dragged and hopped really slow around thick cover should do the trick. Also, don't overlook a lipless crankbait like a Rat-L-Trap, get one in a red/craw color and burn it through the water to force a reaction strike.

Chartruse jerkbait.  An assortment of rattle traps!  Color would be redcraw, brown, chartruse or even a blugill color.  You may even try a floating rattle trap and try it like a jerkbait.  That rattle will get there attention in the cloudy water.
