Spinnerbaits With Coloardo Blade

what is need for Colorado blades on normal color spinnerbaits. I know dark colors should have them for murky or night waters, but picked up a few booyahs dirt cheap in white and chartreuse with a copper and silver Colorado  blades.  As said I know the C blade is for vibration but in clear or stained waters I thought you wanted the flash of the other blade?

Correct me if im wrong folks. but ill take a shot here. Colorado blade is slower, which makes it easier to fish deeper. And they're great for slow rolling. In murky water the C blade will actually give off more flash than willows and Indiana blades if I'm not mistaken. Willow blades run fast, you can burn them close to the surface, and Indiana blades are sort of a compromise between the two.

I would definitely use those two colors in stained water, I use a black colorado from dusk to dawn. But that's just me, I'm sure some of the more experienced guys will chime in with some more thoughts.

I love me some colorado bladed baits. I walked around BPS the other day trying to find a chartreuse with gold colorado blades, and could only find 2 different brands that had that combo. This is one of my favorite cloudy day/ stained water spinnerbaits

I love Colorado bladed spinnerbaits, I just won a tournament on them, I was using a strike king premier night fishing spinnerbait in tequila sunrise color. It's a purple skirt with a large purple Colorado blade, well it's a night fishing bait but the tournament was on a muddy dam with a super muddy river. I won it up the river throwing the purple spinnerbait around wood, not really slow rolling it, just swimming it though the wood and along big logs

Personally i prefer a Colorado blade over any other most of the time. That thump can draw a bass in from further than it can see the lure.As far as the comment about flash. They give off less flash than a willow leaf blade, however get one that is hammered and the flash it does give off will, in my opinion, better represent a school of bait fish. As stated above those colors are excellent colors to pair with a Colorado blade.

 

Not to hijack your thread, but has anyone tried those sickle blades?

No hijacking my friend, I also want to ask, anyone used bomber spinnerbaits, my Wal-Mart just sit out a box full of em for a buck a piece
