Hello everyone. The old pro qualifier i bought used when i got back from deployment broke, and i have been looking at some new baitcasters. I found a guy willing to sell me a completely rebuilt and serviced curado 200b for 65 dollars. I was wondering if these reels were worth the money? Thanks ahead of time.

Thank you for the help. Other then price how do these reels hold up? Would it be good for jigging?

Those reels came out in the mid 90's and there are still tons of them in use, they hold up really well. They are big and kind of ugly but very solid. They are good multi purpose reels, you can use them for anything really.

I have 3 of them, they're a workhorse reel. One was the very first baitcaster over $100 I ever bought when I was 16. 11 years later it's since been supertuned and is now one of the farthest casting baitcasters I've ever owned and is still part of my daily line up. The other 2 are loaned out to a couple buddies that use them every time they go and they're still working perfect. I'd buy it if everything is in good working order.

Super deal.  Think I paid $125 for mine a couple years ago.  It is a no brainer at that price.

EDIT:  Oops.  Just noticed it is a Curado.  Mine was the Chronarch 101B.  Still think it is a good deal since it was just rebuilt.  Not as good a deal as a Chronarch at that price, tho.  :teeth:

Yes that is a good deal and I still use one.  Good all around reel and built to last.
