pricemo22 Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I know bass bite different lures in different season's but what are they. Best lures for summer? Best lures for fall? Best lures for winter? Best lures for spring? Quote
smr913 Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Check the articles. They have a ton of information on every season. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted July 9, 2013 Super User Posted July 9, 2013 I use everything in the spring. As it gets hotter l use topwater but i start to use more plastics fished deeper. The fall is like the spring lure wise. The latest I ever fished was near thanks giving in the light snow using a yum money maker swimbait. I gave it a twitch presentation like a dying minnow. Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted July 9, 2013 Super User Posted July 9, 2013 Keep in mind that this is just from my limited experience but this is what I've done best on during the different seasons... Spring - Spinnerbaits Summer - Topwater early/late and soft plastics during the day Fall - Squarebills Winter - Got fed up with not being able to catch a winter bass so I decided I'd fish for trout instead Quote
Super User Marty Posted July 10, 2013 Super User Posted July 10, 2013 I don't fish in winter but use the full assortment of lures spring through fall. The exception is I avoid topwaters in early spring or late fall when the water is below about 55°. Quote
