Jigs 4 Pigs Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Awesome cheap bait, but for some reason I was missing fish somehow on pitbosses using gamakatsu 3/0 ewg's, had to switch to trokar 3/0 ewg to get better hook up percentage...weird. If you tex-pose with trokars, it ruins the skin hooked part of the bait quicker than gamakatsus though. Quote

My go to bait for flipping water willows or brushpiles. Quote

Second this, the pit boss is widely considered to as only a flipping bait for heavy stuff...however Ive used it on a shaky head along rockpiles in a river and caught smallies all day Quote
