They are a great great bait.  For the price they cannot be beat as a flipping/pitching and punching bait.  Best bait of the havoc lineup. You will catch bass anywhere.

I love them. When nothing else works I tie on the craw colored pit boss.

If I'm not flipping a rage product this is next in line. Nice bait with good action.

The Big Texan color has been working for me all year so far. T-rigged with a 3/16 bullet weight has been getting 'em here in Northwest Indiana

Awesome cheap bait, but for some reason I was missing fish somehow on pitbosses using gamakatsu 3/0 ewg's, had to switch to trokar 3/0 ewg to get better hook up percentage...weird. If you tex-pose with trokars, it ruins the skin hooked part of the bait quicker than gamakatsus though.

Try moving up to a 4/0, that's what I use and rarely miss a fish on a pit boss. My go to bait for flipping water willows or brushpiles.

Excellent bait whether t-rigged, used as a jig trailer, or my personal favorite, on a shaky head.

I don't have a lot of luck with them.

If I use one I'm searching for something to work, they haven't ever been the magic bullet for me.

Second this, the pit boss is widely considered to as only a flipping bait for heavy stuff...however Ive used it on a shaky head along rockpiles in a river and caught smallies all day

I have been doing really good using the pit boss in green pumpkin. Anybody else using them?

Ive been catching some great size fish with this lure. Even this one tht was caught early spring
