Super User Sam Posted July 8, 2013 Super User Posted July 8, 2013 Hopefully Chantal will be nothing more than a tropical storm and not move up the east coast next week. Our Florida, Georgia and Carolinas buddies need to keep an eye on this one. Quote

Tide change around 6 am tomorrow, should be pretty good next 2 days. Went offshore this morning, don't bother....caught 2 5# bonita, rather have been snook fishing. Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted July 10, 2013 Super User Posted July 10, 2013 Sam, thanks for the concern. When you hear guys talking about the bite that will occur, they are not overly concerned about this storm. Although the media will make you think the sky is falling. I myself are one of those guys. I am thinking about heading to fish tomorrow as well. A tropical depression is nothing to be overly concerned about. A little bit of wind and a lot of rain. The unfortunate thing is that the water levels are going to increase and the bass fishing is going to really slow down. Quote
