Super User FishTank Posted March 25, 2007 Super User Posted March 25, 2007 I tried out the Skip Gap Hook today and I have to say it is a pretty cool invention. The bait stays on perfectly. I found it especially good for lizards. Have any of you tried these yet? Today was just a first impression so it would be great to read about some other opinions on these hooks. Quote

Did you try them on Zoom Horny Toads? I usually use a 5/0 hook on these and the Skip Gap only goes to 4/0. Quote
fishinman Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 The Skip Gap is great! I have used it on senko's, floating worms, lizards, horny toads and flukes. I have used sizes 2/0 - 5/0. Just got back from BPS, bought some more 5/0 for horny toads. Quote
Redtail Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 The design does appear to be great, but I couldn't use them on my favorite bait - Fat Ika. Quote
Pa Angler Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Just ordered some from BPS in 3/0, 4/0 & 5/0 for some reason Cabels's doesn't offer the 5/0 on their website or at the Hamburg, PA store. Quote
