ok, buddy gave me his carrot PG, it hold 7/8 oz, so I assume it is on the H side, I want this for bigger spinnerbaits, all casting jigs and buzzbaits, I noticed nano is in the 14-17 lb test. Has it got any better since its release.  what about the fireline for the above applications, I love  it for my spinning.  Do those lines float? for when I do buzzbaits.

I don't remember a single thread that recommended Nanoline.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid is a great line at a very good price. Otherwise,

give Tuf-Line, Seaguar or Kanzen a try.

Although I think both NanoFil and fused Fireline are very good lines for spinning gear, I'd recommend SpiderWire Ultra-Cast or Fireline braid to use with bait casting gear.

hey, I have some of the suffix copolymer line, isn't that what yo-zuri hybrid is a co-poly line?  if so I have some of that. though it is only in 12 lb. I figured the bigger fireline crystal would be good, I am  a suffix fan but with having the fireline on my spinning, I was thinking of trying it; though I have braid isn't best for  buzzbaits, might need the stretch of mono since this rod is on the H side.

hey, was talking to buddy, he has yozuri 17lb, Would this be good, also with that high test, I figured the yards would be cut drastically, thinking of pairing a daiwa lexa 300 for it. Or is there any deep spool high gear ratio reels for around 100.00

Sounds like you want a line that will float. Co-poly will not float.

I would suggest power pro 50lb braid. If you want to help keep your buzzbaits up you can tie on about a 10' piece of 20-25lb mono as a leader.

I think the 50lb braid would excel for what you want to do.

oh co-poly wont float, thanks, I didn't want to do a mono leader, I was thinking straight mono, 17 lb, or will it not work for the jigs, mainly footballs,  BUT on the main end it will be for 1/2-5/8 spinnerbaits and 1/2 oz buzzbaits.

You may run into problems with loss of sensitivity and bad hook-ups with 17# mono on footballs. It will work though.
