Nanofil Vs Trilene

I am getting a new spinning rod and reel and wanted to know if trilene flourocarbon or berkley nanofil is better sensitivity wise. If used the flouro and it is super strong and really sensative but it has terrible memory. I will mainly be using drop shots and shakey heads. Thanks

the nanofil will cast really far.  a lot farther than flouro.  any braid will.  i use p-line 20lb braid on my shakey rod with a 6 foot flouro leader.  i tie them together with a double uni knot.  i just reeled in a 4lber about 30 minutes ago with this setup.  

 

i think braid with a flouro leader is the best of both of worlds.  u get the long distance cast with a super sensitive feel.  u can tie braid straight to the hook, but i think flouro spooks less fish.

People hate on nanofil but I used the 8lb with no problems. Cast great, was sensitive. Great line just a bit expensive

I hate Nanofil for the fishing applications you're wanting to do. I've never fished Berkley fluoro but I use Seaguar Red Label fluoro for shakyheads and it works great so I'd go with the Berkley.

8lb Trilene 100% Fluoro tied to a mainline of 10lb Nanofil.

I used FC on my spinning reel for about 4 months and had way to many line memory problems......So, I put on the Berkley Nanofil.....14lb...I've been using it for over 5 months now and I love it..... When the fish aren't bitting  I'll use a Zoom Trick Worm and worm hook, weightless and I can feel the slightest nibble..... very impressed with the line.... It hasn't failed me yet..
