Super User clayton86 Posted July 27, 2013 Author Super User Posted July 27, 2013 They shoot the same as field tips two of the full timers have them at my armory we were shooting them at a block fly true like a field tip and completely destroyed the block target looks like it got shot with a slug. I also think there is a video of a doe shot with one on you tube and a bull elk and grizzly on the website for the head. Quote

endless Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 dang. I was thinking about them too. You think the grain is more than rated? Right now I have cheapies. Not sure how well they are? The Carbon express troika ST3.My season don't start till this Saturday. I'm getting my license tomorrow. I have been seeing deer just haven't been out to where I'm going to hunt to see anything or know anything yet. I'm going tomorrow I think to set up camera. I'm getting a very late start cause I wasn't sure if was going to hunt this year. But screw it I have too, I didn't get to do any fishing this year and had all my boat stuff stolen. My foot motor, seats, batteries. I was blown. I'm just glad I don't live there no more. In a better place now. I had two does in the backyard yesterday over by the chicken fence. Must be the corn they after?. It was funny one ran right into the rooster fence trying to get out of yard when I was out there. The other day had a doe crossing the road by the house I almost stopped and grunted lol. I had my caller in car. Well I wish you luck and luck to everyone else this year as well. How is everything and the kids doing? Quote

How is everything and the kids doing? There's some you tube videos of the toxic in action it does some damage and leaves one heck of a blood trail. The two guys that told me about em still shoot then and they hit same as field tips I could never get mine to so I sold them off. Quote
MDBowHunter Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I wasn't going to even post on this because last time I voiced my opinion it turned into a bunch of BS, but here we go anyway. My first opinion after seeing them was they're junk, and wouldn't fly worth a d**n. Now after seeing them in action they're even junkier then I thought, horrible penetration and a crappy blood trail and fly like total sh-t. I was filming for a friend a week and a half ago and he hit a Sika hind (which is half the size of a whitetail) right in the shoulder and it didn't penetrate the bone at all, the arrow bounced right back out, and only had a little blood on the broadhead and that was it (this was out of a 70# bow). I will admit that this same guy killed a Sika stag two days prior with the toxics, but he hit it right in the heart and it still ran over 75 yards. Also I haven't seen one person yet that was 100% happy with the flight of these things. My uncle once told me that half the fishing lures out there were designed to catch fishermen not the fish, and broadheads are no different. If a broadhead wont fly as true as a FP throw it away and try another one, because your only going to waste your time and money and get really frustrated along the way. Endless go with a G5 T3 and don't look back, you wont be disappointed. And Clayton last I heard from you is that these were the sh-t and were hitting right where your FPs were, what happened? Quote

They were just inconsistant and noisy for me i sold them and am shooting grim reaper 1 3/8 heads now. The practice head has worked great for woodchucks and squirrels so far lol. Quote
