I am debating between the two rods.  Which do you guys like and why?  I am looking for sensitivity.I would be getting a 7ft MH rod.

Powell. Though both are good sticks.

what are you going to use the rod for.if you are going to use it for a jig rod I would bump up to a heavy in the endurance line.I love powell rods but to me they fish softer than rated my max 703cef feels more like a medium.I do not have a mh rod in the endurance line but do own some 4 power rods that feel perfect for jigs and worming

Don't think you can wrong with either. BUT. I love my Powells! With them on sale at fish ranger, you can't beat that deal.

I love my ducketts, I'm even getting another one soon. These rods are amazing. I mainly use them for jigs and bottom bouncing baits because they are really sensitive. And if you don't like the split grip, you can go to their website and get a full grip one. I don't know anything about the powells so I can't make a comment about them.

I have not personally used a Powell, but I have used a Duckett, and really like it. It is light, sensitive, and I like the action of the rod.

do you have Micro Magic or White Ice?

The Duckett's actions are slightly slower in similar ratings. The Powell, in my hands, feels a tad more sensitive. It is really a draw in most other aspects.

I couldn't turn down the Powell's for $109 after reading all of their reviews. I will let you guys know what I think of them. Two tournaments in the next 15 days

Cant go wrong with either company. I have both.. And two Duckett Micro Magics.. the Sensitivity of the micro magic rods are incredible and very light in weight.
