CPBassFishing Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 5 in the past 2 weeks fishing with bass lures. I can't imagine how many I'd catch on nightcrawlers. Got pics of 3 of them. Caught on a tube: And another on a tube: Buzzbait, seriously? I caught another one on a 4" fluke and another on a jitterbug. These crazy things fight harder than a bass of the same size and are twice as aggressive. When they hit, they thump it hard. Pretty fish. 2 Quote

CPBassFishing Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 Thin the heard, fish fry I can't see them tasting very good out of a golf course pond with fertilizer runoff. As much as I love a good fish fry I'll pass on the cancer. Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I doubt they would be able to eat a 8" hudd LOL... 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 1, 2013 Global Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Get a flyrod out there! Those big pumpkinseeds on a popping bug would be a blast! Quote
wademaster1 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Those are some nice seeds! The panfish family is a blast with the appropriate gear.... Quote
PABASS Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 That red one is unique we don't have too many pumkinseeds here in my neck of the woods, I can tell you I would be throwing a larger swim baits matching those colors and see what happens.. Quote

No big fish in the pond. It is just full of small bass from 3/4 pound to 1.5 pounds. I wish...... Quote
