David Rangel Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Some body had used Both ...or any and can give the opinion about those products (thinking in anaconda 7" and Big Dead Ringer 8").....considering that both lures has large profile ribbon tails ! Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 I have, I am a huge fan of the dead ringers. Green pumpkin is my favorite. Next to those is the ol monster. Quote
David Rangel Posted July 2, 2010 Author Posted July 2, 2010 I agree, in my last trip I used the big dead ringer and we were very succeseful using that lure, I had read a lot about the anaconda, but I'm no really convinced about pay the extra for those ;thinking that Aguamilpa Lake once you find the lure you empty the pack in less than an hour. ........unfortunatelly, I have not a zoom dealer close to me, or SK.to buy a bulk packs ! Thanks for the coments David Quote
hmongkidBee Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I have to disagree with you guys and go with the anaconda. I've caught a good load of bass to boost my confidence with this lure. It's my go to lure now because it's so versatile especially when you have to fish slow. the slightest twitch will make the tail flutter, and the slower the better. Just my opinion. Quote
Big Tom Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 To be fair, I haven't spent much time at all throwing the Anaconda baits. The Big Dead Ringer flat out catches a ton of bass for me though. It is one of my all-time favorite plastics. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 I use both The Anaconda has more tail action at slower speeds, moves more water, but think that the Big Dead Ringer can't hold it's own. I throw em both & let the bass decide! Quote
Super User Micro Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 Anaconda in red shad cleans house for me. Quote
Catch22 Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I have used both of them and like them both. I end up using the Anaconda more often though. I love that coffee scent. Quote
David Rangel Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Thank you everybody I got good comments about the lures! David Quote
Gangley Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 don't forget the ZOOM Ol' Monster, it flat out catches bass, and the Berkely 10" Power Worm aint a slouch either. Quote
