any ideas how to get skirt bands onto the Boss punch hub? I have the Boss tool (tube) to build your own skirts but I can't get the band to slip onto the hub.

According to the BOSS website the installation procedure is as follows:   Using the skirts unlimited skirt tool slide a skirt ring onto the tool remove the nose put the wire form into the tool pull your choice of skirt tabs into the tool fold the top layer of skirting up and push the punch ring into the end of the tool roll the skirt ring off of the tool into the grove on the punch ring trim the tab ends and you are done.
Good Luck!

I just tie the skirt on with floral wire, like wire-tying a jig skirt. No fuss, and it will NEVER come undone. You can buy 100 yards of floral wire for about $3 at any crafts store.

X2.    That's exactly what I do. Believe Megastink, the wire will outlive any skirt material.
