Super User Crestliner2008 Posted July 1, 2013 Super User Posted July 1, 2013 The quabbin... has smallies And largemouth....and salmon.....and just about any other specie you could possibly be interested in. Quinny is a fine fishery as well. Quote
wngan9447 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I agree it has everything. The smallies are rare in Mass. I'm too cheap to pay for a NH non-resident license so the limited smallie ponds/lakes are a plus for me. I'm the guy to get annoyed when people keep smallies. I'd give that person a 4# LMB to have them put the 1# smallie back. Quote
metalhack Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wachusett and Sudbury Res(Shore Fishing only)have a very healthy population of Smallies. For Larry's I fish Chauncy, A-1 and Sudbury River. Sud Riv has some decent Esox in it. Quote

Its off Mill Rd in Westborough, which is off RT30. It's ideal for small boats and yaks. Watch out for hidden stumps. It's been a tough fish this year other than early mornings.Sudbury river is slow moving. Quote
