As far as I know they don't make these anymore, but picked one up NIB on eBay (Springfield, MO of all places) for $75.

Just wanted to see the feedback the forum might have on this reel and how it compares to the BPS Pro Qualifier, which I have two of and love them!

Here's the specs and pic

On basspro.com they are 39.99, just a heads up.

If its the reel I'm thinking of, I bought two, also for 39.99. I liked them and they felt like decent reels, but I couldn't get a casting distance worth a d**n out of either of them. It felt like something was holding them back. I couldn't get them to even hardly backlash with the brakes off.

Other than my casting issues, they seemed to be decent reels, especially for the money.

Well, I feel like a dumba**, here's the listing I paid for and will return, but have a feeling it will get drawn out in the eBay/PayPal proceedings

That's rough man, I was looking at that reel also. Hope you don't have to go through too much junk over it.

Don't sweat it, you bought from a very reliable seller. They offer a fair return policy, your out the shipping!! I think it's fair, you bought it and it is exactly what they described, so why should they be out any shipping. You won't have any problem getting your purchase price back as long as it is just as they shipped it!!  :console:

Before you send it back make sure they are the same reels.  You list the specs from the 1 you bought as having both centrifugal and magnetic, however the $39.99 one at Bpro is magnetic only.

Plus the Bpro one is a graphite frame - not sure if the one you got from eBay is aluminum or graphite.

Definitely make sure you bought the same reel you posted in the link, the link you gave say's it is the same model #TPX10HB, which is the same model as the $39.00 reel from BPS. If not you may have done as good as you expected after all!!
