flipinstick88 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 If I had to choose one it would be Berkley Power Bait. The fish really do hold on to the Berkley scent and flavor a long time. Quote
nern Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Powerbait here. It gives my tackle box that wonderful aroma and gets me plenty of strikes. Quote
DeanFishesNY Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Mostly Gander Mountain plastics. They tend to be more durable and catch fish just as well as any other plastic. I also like Zoom brush hogs, super hogs, flukes. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted June 27, 2010 Super User Posted June 27, 2010 Up until the last few years Zoom would easily have been my choice. I use several others, but Netbait is a strong contender for the top spot. Quote
Nebraska Bassin Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Up until the last few years Zoom would easily have been my choice. I use several others, but Netbait is a strong contender for the top spot. I'm starting to gain a lot of confidence in the Netbait paca craws. I tried a Zoom lizard this morning and didn't even get a strike, busted out a paca and caught 15 in an hour and a half. Quote
Steve1357 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I like Big Bite Baits because they are better and cheaper than Zoom. Academy is the only place I've seen them though.. Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Yesterday was clean up the boat and sort tackle day, so based on bag counts: YUM ZOOM Strike King Yamamoto Big Bite Reacation Innovations Outlaw Baits Dry Creek Assorted odds and ends Quote
hitchhiker Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I like Roboworms for my finesse presentations, but recently I have found myself putting on Strike King baits (Rage Tails, and the super stretchy finesse worms) more and more often. If I had to take my top few Robos Strike King Berkley Grande Bass Quote
bigtimfish Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 1.Big Bite Baits 2.Grande Bass 3.BPS (12" squirmin worms, tube darts, crack craws, and flippin craws) 4. Lake Fork Tackle Quote
TrippyJai Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 *** Zoom Gary Yamamoto Powerbait I haven't had much success with the rage tail products yet. Quote
Mono Man in IL Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Charlie Brewer sliders because they still catch fish as good as when I started fishing them 35 years ago. My #1 go to bait. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 28, 2010 Super User Posted June 28, 2010 In no particular order: *** Ragetail Zoom Yamamoto (Flappin' Hog and Shad Shape worm) Quote
skeet8 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Yum,,, but after reading all these posts I think I'm going to switch. Quote
Bassin_MO Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 1. Zoom 2. Berkley Powerbait 3. Luck 'E' Strike Are what I have the most bags of. Then, just a bunch of random brands. Quote
basser223 Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 No that I've seen your guy's oppinions I've took the to 5 and made a pole Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted June 28, 2010 Super User Posted June 28, 2010 I use Zoom more than anything else. Quote
pat_walker_fishing Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I have tons of soft plastics and I would have to say ZOOM! I believe they have the truest best colors, they are durable, and you get more for your money in a bag. They have the most variety of lures and styles. The only issue i have with them is that they dont use any sent. I will say this, i will only use strike king tubes. there the best in that dept. Quote
tritz18 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I would say yamamoto but they are so expensive, other than that I am really starting to like netbaits. Quote
Gangley Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 ZOOM, but Berkley is a very close second. Heck, I might have that backwards, I like them both A LOT. Quote
Super User CWB Posted June 29, 2010 Super User Posted June 29, 2010 Not just Strike King Rage but Strike King Period. Perfect plastic Ocho is every bit as good as a senko and the shimmy stick is pretty darn close for less. Perfect Plastics are great and I still like the Elazteck baits. Coffee Tubes and Shadalicious also, not to mention the rage baits, which no other company comes close to. I do use others but have found S.K. makes just about everything I need. Can't go wrong with S.K. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted June 29, 2010 Super User Posted June 29, 2010 I like all of the above, but for me, Zoom just edges out Gary Yamamoto. Quote
