basser223 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 ok whats your favorite plastic company and why. I really like Zoom because they are cheap, have a good variety and they catch lots of fish. Quote
B A S S E R Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I like zoom alot also. I also like the strike king plastics and the cheap bass pro brand. So I guess I'm not a fanboy of one plastic company. Quote
hmongkidBee Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 as of right now the STRIKE KING RAGE TAILS are my favorite plastics. The amount of action and water they displace is unbelievable. Quote
MSAJAA Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I catch more fish on Gary Yamamoto plastics than any other bait Quote
bigfruits Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 its hard to pick a favorite, but if i could only use one brand id go with yamamoto. Quote
Hot n Tot Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Zoom is my favorite. Especially for the Trick Worms, Finesse worms and Super Flukes. But I also like Yamamoto alot, they just don't seem durable to me. I'm just starting to use the Rage Tails, and ordered some from Tackle Warehouse that I couldn't find locally. Quote
Blue Streak Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 You probably would have found more information using the search feature. This has been done many times before. I think you will learn that any of them is somebody's favorite. Quote
Nice_Bass Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I have found fish hang on the most to Powerbait products, used the rage tail products however,...eh well nevermind. Berkley all the way. Quote
mrbassky Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I use alot of Yamamoto baits but Reaction Innovations makes more baits I cant do without. Sweet Beavers Skinny Dippers Big Unit Flirt worm Boom Boom tube Those are some great baits. Quote
mrbassky Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 If its a question of who makes the highest quality baits and not the most variations the cheapest then I have to go with Reaction Innovations. Quote
Nebraska Bassin Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I've had the best luck on the original Zipper worms. Other than that, I like Zoom and Netbait. Quote
Big Tom Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I find myself fishing Zoom more than any other plastic. They just have so many options. Quote
Nebraska Bassin Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I find myself fishing Zoom more than any other plastic. They just have so many options. You can get Zoom baits pretty much anywhere that sells fishing stuff, too. I've gained a lot of confindence in the watermelon colored 5" lizards I bought at a local department store. If I run out (and oh yes, I will run out ;D) I can go get more dirt cheap. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted June 25, 2010 Super User Posted June 25, 2010 Kinda tough to pick just one co... Ragetail aka Strikeking. Zoom GYBC Those would be my top 3. Quote
fmoore Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Powerbait all the way. I have so much confidence in using them without any additional scents. Quote
Incheon Basser Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 the classics berkely zoom culprit new kids chomppers big bite netbait and me lol Quote
guitarkid Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 It is a three way tie between: Zoom, Fish Stalker, and Deep Creek Lure co. -gk Quote
tnbassfisher Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I find myself fishing Zoom more than any other plastic. They just have so many options. Yep. I've probably caught more fish on a Zoom product than any other company. Quote
basscrusher Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Definitely Zoom for me. They are relatively cheap, they offer almost every style I'd use other than beavers and senkos, they have every color known to man, they're probably the softest plastic of any non-custom brand, and the appendages move better than most other brands (like the tails on Powerbait lizards, which don't move in the water.) Quote
Primus Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Zoom & GYCB, though there are others that I like as well. Quote
BassThumb Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 If I had to pick one, Berkley Powerbait, because of the ribbontail worms, shakey worms, chigger craws, and walleye grubs. Otherwise, I like bits and pieces from Zoom, GYCB, Netbait, Venom, Reaction Innovations, and Rage Tail. Quote
