OntarioBassAnlger Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Should I be using my Flipping/Pitching rod (7,6 H) for pitching beavers as well as my flipping jigs? I would think so because the flipping jig has a extra heavy wire 6/0 hook, but just making sure! Thanks for your help!! Quote

You are going to be flipping both and you are using it on a flipping rod. As long as the weights of both are within the rods parameters then it will fit the rods usage. I would imagine this is the case. Quote
OntarioBassAnlger Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Thanks for the reply! pondBoss- same here, I have been fishing that way too, i just wanted some other opinions to compare too! Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 If heavy power is appropriate for the weight of the bait and cover being fished, the casting style shouldn't matter. Quote
