Does anyone here use the BPS brand senkos? I personally prefer the Bass Pro worms. I mainly fish off colored water here in NC, and Iv caught more bass on the "crawberry" color, than any other color Iv tried. I just recently bought a pack of "houdini" senkos vacationing here in Myrtle Beach to try out. If anyone uses these worms, post some color options I sould check out. Id love to hear what color you guys catch your fish on! :tongue5:

Yep! I use 'em in the 4 and 5 inch varieties. Colors work very well. Favs are watermelon magic and pepper frog hot orange.

Set out one day to use nothing but Stick-O's to gain confidence in them. Probably catch more on these now than I do Yammies!

Don't have a picture offhand, and the BPS site doesn't do the worm justice. The Pepper Frog side is a green color, with the other side orange. Unfortunately BPS doesn't have the best quality control on laminates, several in every pack I've bought have been mostly green with little orange. But they still catch.

Stick-Os are all I use. I like them more than the Yum Dingers and theyre right up there with GY Senkos in my book.

Ill have to check those out! As soon as I get home, and have time to try my new color out Ill post and tell about my success... Or lack of.

I found the post I made about my experiment. I also show pix of the worms I mentioned. You might find it interesting (or not)

In that thread, you talked about wacky rigging them as well as the T-rig. Every single website I go to talks about wacky rigging the senkos. I cant get away from it. Iv never wacky rigged them. All I ever do is the weightless T-rig. Would you say the wacky is more succesful?

Also, this is way off subject, but its fresh on my mind so I figure I might as well ask while Im still thinking about it. I like Rages baits alot, and wanna try the rage rig. Have you ever done this? If so, what is needed, just a weighted hook?

First, no, I've not tried the Rage rig, others who have may chime in on that.

Wacky is my #1 way to rig senko-style baits. My other go-to baits for wacky are Zoom Finesse and Trick worms.

I'll either weightless-rig or use a weedless wacky jig for senko-style, etc. Wacky is absolutely killer in these parts. I weightless TX rig, too, and I will also both wacky and TX rig a worm using a split-shot further up the line to give a different presentation in the depths.

Wacky rigging is easy and quite fun. I heartily suggest you try it. One thing though, be patient. Be aware of what you're throwing the rig into, especially if it's not a weedless hook. If it's a heavy worm, let 'er sink a bit, then give it some action to keep it above/out of the sticks (unless weedless). If it's something like a light Zoom Finesse worm, give it more time, then twitch your rod tip 1-3 times up, let it sink back down and her action will do all the work to entice the bass there.

The Stik-Os work great and last longer than the GYCB.  I would stick with the 4" and 5".

I caught my first wacky rig bass the other day on a green pumpkin/gold flake stick-o. They have great action wacky rigged. I only suggest using o-rings with them because I lost the worm twice while reeling in fish.

Might I suggest you buy some wacky hooks to complement the sport.

I like Gamakatsu Wide Gap Finesse hooks for just the purpose. If you're close to a Bass Pro, they have 'em in stock.

I like size 1 the most, some guys here prefer larger. I caught my 7 1/2 lb PB on a size 1 wacky rig, and I've caught plenty of 3-6 pounders on the size 2...

Love em!  Everytime I end up near a BassPro on my travels I pick up at least one pack.  Lame excuse to go to the stores anyway.  LOL

4 and 5 inchers.  My favorite are the green pumpkin.colors.

Well, to further deplete any cash in your wallets guys, if you haven't seen, Stick-Os are on sale for $3.74 - 41/4" $3.97 - 5 3/8" per pack right now.

I use them all the time.  I like the 6" size.  When I need them smaller I just cut them in half and square off the tail.

So I'm looking to pick up some worms while there's July 4th sales going on everywhere. I've been wanting to try these and they seem to get good reviews and results, so I decided to get 104 pc kit, its cheaper than two bags of Senkos, I get two sizes, a ton a colors, and 3700 box. That last one is actually my question, I always leave all my plastics in their original bag and then put them into a big container, its going to take me awhile to work through 104 sticks, how well are they going to do loose in that container?

stik-o's are awesome!  That is my #1 go to bait down here.  Favorite colors are green pumpkin and texas smoke.  I use either the 5" or 6" sizes and i prefer to wacky rig.  I only T-rig when there is quite a bit of cover.  Someone earlier mentioned a Gomakatsu #1 finesse hook.  x2 on that.  The bait just seems to fall and move more natural wacky rigged.  The T-rig i'm normally throwing at a target(pads, mats, stump, branch, etc) if it doesn't get nailed in a few seconds i burn it back and make another cast to another target.  Wacky rigging i'll throw it parallel to those targets or work it along a ledge or weedline, deadly!
