slickone Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Hello I don't post here much...just mainly lurk and get ideas, wonderful I may add, from you guys here I just want to say how awesome the rage craw is. First time using it today and used a whole package on about 13 fish...I know Bobby posts here so I just want to say thank you for an AWESOME product..the craw legs are so real they get lost quickly, but I don't care..very fun bait..may even be a go to bait for me now over my normal power worm and zoom brush hog I had it rigged on 10lb mono, 1/8oz pegged bullet weight with 5/0ewg hook Im going to try my floro rig tomorrow but I got to get another pack of craws thank guys and bobby for getting me to try these Quote
Super User Micro Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 I have't tried a Rage Tail I didn't like, except maybe the Shad. Try the Space Monkey. Rigged on an spiral-lock Owner 4/0 1/8oz weighted hook. It swims just below the surface. The legs kick up and down and the hips wiggle from side to side. One of the few lures I've seen that has up/down and side-to-side motion. Since this bait has been out, it has become a confidence bait for me and has been the most productive bait I've used in the last few years. Quote
Mrs. Matstone Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Nice to hear that you did so well with the rage craw. I have been fishing them for about 2 years now and I love em. Quote
Big-O Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Glad you like'em slickone I think the waving claws on the fall makes'em look like they're doing their best to get to the bottom to hide out Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
slickone Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 I apologize for above big-o..I got Bobby from megastrike confused with you but knew you both posted here..I usually don't experiment too much outside the box but glad I decided to. Wife don't get too happy when bait monkey calls and I buy a bunch of bags of plastics to just lay around because they don't work as well as what I use mostly. I jumped and got some rage tail worms (anoconda) I believe, and the craws along with a few other things.. I didn't experiment with the worm as much, but have to say the action is a lot better than the power worm and it isn't as soft...they take a hit better. The craw just stayed busy yesterday so I had no need to change till they were gone...lol..I texas rig most of the time but i'm ready to experiment with different options now with the craw thanks again..just felt it was due to give my congrats since it worked so well yesterday Quote
NateFollmer Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Slickone - try the rage craw on a football head jig. One of my favorite ways to use the rage craw (besides t rigging of course). The only rage bait I haven't used yet is the smokin' rooster - I love em all! Quote

Hope you enjoy the Annie's Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 3, 2010 Super User Posted July 3, 2010 Great line of lures. The craws and lobsters have been my best producers this year by far. T-rigged, flipped, pitched, they work in all conditions. Quote
