We're pretty lucky in northern Ontario -- I think we have close to 10,000 lakes in the neck of the woods I live in. Not sure if you'd want to fish many of them but they're there.

 

At any rate, favourite lake is about 1hr with no traffic, favourite river is about 30 minutes. I've driven up to 2 hours to go fishing and 6 hours via airplane. Okay, on that last one it was my sister's wedding in the Turks & Caicos but I also went for the bonefish :eyebrows:

I have a few decent places within 30 minutes, but the better lakes for me are usually around 1-1.5 hours away.
